Even more domestic fruits and berries arrive on the shelves of Russian stores. Last year, agrarians updated the record for their production, having collected, according to preliminary data, more than 1.5 million tons of products in the organized sector. This is 5% higher than in 2021. Horticulture is one of the most actively developing and investment-attractive areas, which steadily shows growth from year to year. The increase in production volumes is primarily due to the high rate of establishment of modern intensive orchards and nurseries – in 2022 it is about 11 thousand hectares. This will allow us to further increase the yields of fruits and berries, reducing the volume of imports.
