According to the Algerian resource “MenaDefense”, PJSC “Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after. G.M. Beriev” manufactured the first of four ordered Be-200ES aircraft for the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic.
The aircraft is made with a fully digital cockpit and English-language display, and is also adapted for use in tropical climates.
It is reported that in 2023 another Be-200ES aircraft should be delivered to Algeria.
Algerian crews and engineers were trained to service aircraft in the Russian Federation.
The contract for the construction of amphibious aircraft for Algeria was signed in 2021.
