New measures of state support for Russian farmers appeared this year

Starting from 2023, the Government of the Russian Federation will introduce additional measures to support agricultural producers, which will expand the possibilities of obtaining subsidies in several areas at once. Thus, a resolution on an increase from 20 to 50% of the amount of reimbursement of expenses for the creation and modernization of selection and seed-growing centers comes into force. This measure is aimed at reducing the payback period of such projects, attracting investors, and increasing the share of domestic seeds on the market. In addition, the list of subsidized areas has been expanded to accelerate the construction and renovation of aquaculture feed production facilities. Entrepreneurs who are ready to invest in such facilities will be able to count on compensation of 20% of the costs.
