The new version of the computer-aided design system KOMPAS-3D v21 works stably in the operating system “Alt Workstation” 10. Compatibility of solutions is provided by the Russian application WINE@Etersoft. The import-independent software stack serves for safe application in industry and engineering education. All three products are included in the Unified Register of Russian Software.
OS and CAD compatibility is the result of a technology partnership between the three companies. As new versions of software products are released, engineers re-ensure their consistently reproducible collaboration. The previous version of KOMPAS-3D also worked with the operating systems “Alt Workstation”, “Alt Server”, “Alt Education” and “Alt 8SP”, support for their joint work was also provided by WINE@Etersoft.
