In 2022, Crimean farmers purchased 475 units of agricultural machinery and equipment worth more than 2 billion 915 million rubles. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk. Of these, 60 grain and forage harvesters, more than 150 tractors, as well as harrows, cultivators, plows and much more.
“The number of tractors, combines and other equipment purchased last year exceeded the forecast plan by more than 200 units. The main part is domestic agricultural machinery, which are produced at large factories in St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, as well as in the Republic of Tatarstan. When updating the fleet of agricultural machinery and equipment, the farmers of the region actively use the services of financial organizations, including preferential leasing and lending. This year, agricultural producers plan to purchase about 200 units,” Andriy Savchuk commented.
The head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture also noted that over 4,000 specialized machinery and equipment for a total amount of about 10 billion rubles have been delivered to Crimean agricultural producers over 9 years. These are mainly tractors, grain and forage harvesters.
