The Khvoynoye deposit is located in the southwest of the Nizhneyakokitsky gold ore field in the Aldan region of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Its open-pit development is planned to begin in 2024. Glavgosexpertiza of Russia issued a positive opinion on the construction of three quarries and a gold recovery plant at the site of a new mining and processing plant.
“The development project for the Khvoynoye gold deposit takes into account the development of mining operations at three open pits for the period up to 2029. The production capacity of the GOK, taking into account the average annual decrease in mining operations and the minimum life of open pits, will amount to 3 million tons per year”, – said Vladislav Sokolov, Deputy Head of the Service of Chief Project Experts for Production Facilities of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
Mining and processing plant “Khvoyny” is a complex of buildings, structures and equipment designed for the extraction, transportation of ore, as well as for the extraction of precious metals from ore – gold and silver. The field is located on the south side of the A-360 Lena highway Never-Yakutsk and the Kaila River in the Aldan region of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Design solutions have been developed taking into account the technologies for mining and industrial processing of gold-bearing ore in difficult geological and climatic conditions.
It is planned to locate the Sever, Yug and Center quarries at the deposit site, as well as overburden rock dumps, a gold recovery plant site, warehouses for storing ore materials and reagents, power and water supply facilities, treatment facilities and other production and auxiliary facilities. objects.
