In the Stavropol Territory, with the advent of the new year, additional measures of state support for agricultural producers will appear. One of them is to support the production of cattle not older than 24 months, sent for slaughter for their own processing and (or) sold for slaughter to processing organizations.
– Governor Vladimir Vladimirov has set a priority task to increase the volume of beef production in the region. In 2023, 65 million rubles are provided to support livestock breeders in this area. The subsidy will be provided at a rate per 1 kg of live weight of cattle, – said the Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Sergey Izmalkov.
Recall that at the end of 2022, the number of cattle in the region reached 267.7 thousand heads, which is 1% higher than in 2021.
