The Federal Air Transport Agency has issued a type certificate for the TV7-117ST-01 engine to JSC UEC-Klimov. Obtaining a type certificate by the engine developer is an important step in the ongoing certification of the Il-114-300 aircraft.
The TV7-117ST-01 engine is an aircraft turboprop engine with a free turbine designed for use as part of the power plant of the Il-114-300 aircraft. It was created on the basis of the TV7-117S / SM engine with improved performance, an upgraded digital engine control unit BARK-65SM and adapted to the new AB112-114 propeller developed by JSC NPP Aerosila, which is also being certified by the Federal Air Transport Agency.
