Owners of 94 household plots in rural areas received development subsidies in 2022. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk.
“With the money allocated from the republican budget, 53 villagers bought bull-calves for fattening no older than 6 months, heifers, heifers and first-calf heifers of the dairy direction, as well as bright and goats from a year and older and young birds. More than 40 people spent the funds received on the purchase, installation and construction of greenhouses in order to grow vegetables and fruit and berry crops in their household plots. I want to emphasize that last year the republic provided such assistance for the first time. The goal is the same – to economically support the residents of the districts and help them develop personal subsidiary plots in the villages. Thus, the owner of private household plots can not only grow and process their own products for their own needs, but also sell the surplus,” Andriy Savchuk commented.
The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea also said that 226 applications were received by the Ministry of Agriculture of Crimea to participate in the selection. The most active were residents of the Nizhnegorsky, Pervomaisky and Krasnogvardeisky districts.
“Last year, we opened the acceptance of application documentation for this subsidy in three stages from September to December. The application process was as simple as possible. But, unfortunately, due to the fact that some of the documents were incorrectly executed, and also did not meet the necessary requirements of the established procedure, some villagers did not pass the selection,” said the head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture.
Recall that the subsidy was paid within the framework of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture and the Regulation of Agricultural Products, Raw Materials and Food Markets of the Republic of Crimea.
