Experts from Florida.Realestate, a profile portal about the real estate market in Florida, analyzed the dynamics of Russian interest in purchasing housing in general throughout the United States. Demand dropped by 9%, the Realty Times reported.
At the end of December 2022, Russian demand for the purchase of real estate in the United States decreased by 19.26% compared to November of the same year. At the moment, the number of buyer requests from Russians has been declining for two months in a row.
Also in the twelfth month of last year, the number of requests to buy real estate in the United States decreased by 24.18% compared to December 2021 and by 7.46% compared to December 2020.
According to Florida.Realestate portal experts, in general, over the twelve months of last year, Russian interest in acquiring real estate in the United States decreased by 8.78% compared to the result for the same period in 2021.
Last year, the peak of consumer demand from Russians for housing in the United States fell on January. In the first month of the year, the number of requests exceeded the average monthly result for the previous year by 72.48%.
