In the village of Otradnoye, Moscow Region, on the territory of Clinical Hospital No. 1 of the Medsi Group of Companies, military builders created a new center for radiotherapy and nuclear medicine for 300 visits per shift. The building (5200 m²) houses modern equipment for minimally invasive treatment of oncological diseases.
A linear accelerator has already been installed, which, using a directed beam of electrons or a stream of photons, makes it possible to destroy any malignant tumor. In the near future, specialists will mount two more accelerators.
