While you were wearing masks and staying away from others because of the coronavirus and getting vaccinated to avoid contracting the flu, yet another disease got an unexpected boost. This is because the patient too often resorted to the help of antibiotics – and now an epidemic of tuberculosis is about to happen in Russia, said allergist-immunologist Vladimir Bolibok.
According to the expert, not only viral diseases, but also bacterial infections are now “in use” in Russia. And the reason for this is simple – the Russians were treated uncontrollably with antibiotics, which led to the spread of resistant strains of streptococcus, staphylococcus and hemolytic bacillus. And there it’s not far from the tuberculosis epidemic, Bolibok warned.
Earlier, an immunologist, candidate of medical sciences Nikolai Kryuchkov warned that a new form of influenza may appear as early as the fall of 2024. He will make a new epidemic worse than it was in 2009 and 2010, when swine flu first declared itself.
