Milk production increased in agricultural organizations of the Tambov region in 2022

According to the results of 2022, almost 83 thousand tons of milk were produced in agricultural organizations of the Tambov region, which is 6.4% higher than in 2021, the Ministry of Agriculture of the region reported. Such results were achieved through the use of modern technologies in feeding and keeping animals, as well as due to the improvement of selection and breeding work. All this contributed to an increase in the productivity of the dairy herd. “Dairy farming is one of the priorities for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
