Molvest Group of Companies has opened a site for advanced milk processing in the city of Kalach, Voronezh Region, Milknews reports citing the company. The site will produce 85% milk protein concentrate (MPC).
Investments in the project amounted to about 2 billion rubles. The design capacity of the shop is 2,500 tons of CBM per year, which is 25.5% of the import volume in 2021. The new facilities are capable of processing 200 tons of milk per day.
