Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin discussed the promotion of Russian agricultural products to world markets during a telephone conversation with Secretary General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Rebeca Greenspan, Interfax writes.
“The interlocutors continued to discuss issues related to the implementation of the Russian-UN Memorandum on the promotion of Russian fertilizers and agricultural products to world markets,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
“Particular attention was paid to the tasks of ensuring the real withdrawal of domestic agricultural products from the effects of unilateral anti-Russian sanctions, the restoration of bank settlements, the normalization of transport logistics and cargo insurance,” the report says.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the Russian side noted the interconnected nature of the “package” agreements concluded on July 22, 2022 in Istanbul, which implies their simultaneous effective implementation.
