By order of FKU Uprdor “Kaspiy”, as part of the overhaul, the section of the R-215 Astrakhan-Makhachkala highway was expanded from two to four lanes from 98 to 103 km, located northeast of the village. Sandy in the Limansky district. Also put in order the segment from 1075 to 1078 km near the village. Staritsa of the Chernoyarsk region.
During the overhaul, new road pavement was arranged, ramps were repaired, slopes, ditches and roadsides were strengthened. The increase in the number of lanes of the highway on the section from 98 to 103 km of the R-215 highway made it possible to significantly improve road safety due to the separation of traffic flows with a metal barrier fence. In addition, road signs, signal bollards were installed, thermoplastic and cold plastic markings were applied.
Also, federal road builders carried out work on the installation of protective and wear layers on four sections of the R-22 and R-215 highways with a total length of about 60 km. This made it possible to extend the service life of the road surface and ensure its roughness, water resistance, and wear resistance.
In addition, in 2022, we continued to bring artificial structures to the standard. In particular, they repaired the bridge over Bezymyanny No. 2 Yerik on the R-215 highway. Planned preventive work was carried out on the bridges across the eriki Ikryanka and Tarankhol, located on the 50th and 74th km of the R-215 highway with a total length of more than 75 m, as well as on the pedestrian bridge at the 1384th km across the R-22 “Kaspiy” highway . So, span structures were repaired, expansion joints were replaced, the roadway pavement and the drainage system on artificial structures were restored.
