The agrarians of the republic completed the previous agricultural year with good results. The harvesting campaign for the 2022 harvest and the sowing of winter crops for the 2023 harvest took place as usual. The gross harvest of all agricultural crops in 2022 amounted to 269.5 thousand tons. 28.5 thousand hectares were sown with winter crops for the harvest of 2023. An area of 42.1 thousand hectares has been allotted for spring crops. During the spring sowing campaign, farmers plan to sow corn, sunflower, spring barley, soybeans, spring oats and spring crops for green fodder.
