The Russian Federation exported 4.54 million tons of wheat in December, according to the Union of Grain Exporters, citing data from the Rusagrotrans analytical center.
“The final estimate of wheat exports in December, including the EAEU countries, is 4.54 million tons compared to 3.26 million tons a year ago and 4.76 million tons in the previous month,” the report says. The forecast for wheat exports in January 2023 is still a record one – about 3.6 million tons, of which about 1.35 million tons were exported from January 1 to 12. Previously, the estimate of wheat exports in December 2022 was 4.35 million tons.
