In 2023, a digital regional meteorological platform will be put into operation in the Tomsk region

The meteorological platform will combine digital products and services of the regional meteorological infrastructure and will be used in various sectors of the region’s economy, primarily in agricultural production. Specialized scientific organizations of the region, the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, insurance organizations, as well as regional and federal bodies are involved in the development of the meteorological platform. The presentation and launch of the platform for test operation is planned for the first half of 2023. Within two years, it is planned to create a number of specialized digital services together with regional and federal departmental information systems.
