Agrocomplex is one of the leaders in the Russian raw milk market due to its well-adjusted agricultural production strategy. We are actively working in parallel in three key areas. We annually invest more than 500 million rubles in the development of the industry in order to reconstruct and modernize farms and dairy complexes, and increase the technical capacity of enterprises. In breeding work, we use the experience of advanced technologies, in particular, the selection of bulls based on the economic efficiency index, which allows us to increase the genetic potential of animals. In the future, we plan to move on to genomic assessment methods. We also pay great attention to improving the human resources potential and local production culture,” said Alexander Kvashin, Deputy General Director of Agrocomplex for Agricultural Production.
Over the past year, Agrocomplex increased its livestock by 1,500 animals. Now 58 farms contain 38,557 forage cows of Holstein-Friesian and Aishir breeds. The agricultural holding conducts breeding work and plans to increase the number of dairy cattle to 40 thousand heads. In addition, in the next three years, he expects to reach the level of an average annual milk yield of 12,000 liters per feed cow. In 2022, the highest milk yield for the company was achieved in the OSP “OPKh Leninsky Put” (Dairy Farm No. 3) – 14,110 liters of milk (an increase compared to the level of the previous year was 1,500 liters).
