Residents of the Novoselitsky District of the Stavropol Territory took an active part in the grant support program for citizens who plan to establish super-intensive type gardens in private farms. The program is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the region.
Specialists of the district department of agriculture, with the participation of the chief agronomist of Stavropol Gardens Plodoobedinenie LLC, go to private household plots of potential recipients of grant support to measure plots and take soil samples in order to determine the garden suitability of the respective territories, the administration of the Novoselitsky district said.
Ten acts of preliminary inspection of plots of personal subsidiary plots of the population have already been drawn up. Potential participants of this type of support were given recommendations on preparing territories for planting seedlings and installing trellises, as well as in other areas of gardening.
To be able to participate in the program, the applicant, within the boundaries of the settlement or outside it, must own a land plot for running a personal subsidiary plot with an area of at least 1 hectare, as well as own funds in the amount of five percent of the amount of the grant provided. Its maximum size is no more than 400 thousand rubles.
