According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of January 9, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 52.1 thousand tons, which is 7.5% (+3.6 thousand tons) more than in the same period last year. The maximum sales volumes from 1.5 thousand tons were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, the Krasnodar Territory, the Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Leningrad and Moscow regions. The average milk yield per cow per day was 20.2 kg, which is 1.36 kg more than a year earlier.
