The Chinese company, which owns Russia’s largest yeast production plant in the Lipetsk region, intends to build an enterprise for deep grain processing in the region. Investments in the project will amount to more than 10 billion rubles, the press service of the government of the Lipetsk region said on Thursday, TASS writes.
“The Chinese investor is ready to invest more than 10 billion rubles in the construction of a new plant in the Lipetsk region. Qin Jianhua, General Director of Angel East Rus, informed the head of the region, Igor Artamonov, today during a working meeting in the Dankovsky District,” the report says.
Earlier, the governor of the Lipetsk region announced on his Telegram channel on Thursday that the management of Angel Yeast, the largest plant in Russia for the production of yeast, operating in the Dankov special economic zone, will invest 2.6 billion rubles in expanding the enterprise and create another 100 workers places, increasing their number to 600. The first stage of the yeast plant in Dankovo was launched in 2019, the volume of investments in its creation amounted to 7 billion rubles.
According to Artamonov, Angel East Rus also intends to build a plant for deep processing of grain, which is an urgent task for the Lipetsk region, so the regional authorities will support the new project.
