Russian actress Larisa Udovichenko was hospitalized. This was reported by the organizers of performances with her participation.
According to them, the People’s Artist of Russia was hospitalized before the New Year with a fracture of the spine. The tour with the play “New Year’s Trouble”, where she was supposed to play the main role, was not canceled. The organizers replaced the artist.

Udovichenko herself has not yet commented on her condition. The circumstances of the incident are unknown. According to some media reports, the 67-year-old actress fell badly during filming.
Later, a friend of Udovichenko, artist Euclid Kurdzidis told TASS that in December she underwent spinal surgery. She is currently in rehab. According to Valeria Gushchina, director of the Russian Film Actors Guild, the actress is at home.
Larisa Udovichenko has been acting in films since childhood. She played her debut role in the short film “Happy Kukushkin” by Alexander Pavlovsky when she was in the ninth grade. She starred in more than 120 films, including “Mothers and Daughters” by Sergei Gerasimov, “The meeting place cannot be changed” by Stanislav Govorukhin and “To whom God will send” by Vladimir Zaikin.
