There is no heating in schools, kindergartens and hospitals
Almost 20 thousand residents of Aznakayevo in Tatarstan were left without heat due to an accident at the central boiler house. At the same time, the temperature in the city dropped to minus 20 degrees. This was reported on the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the republic.
The pipeline burst occurred at 18:45 local time. Because of this, 186 multi-apartment residential buildings were left without heat supply, in which 19,720 people live, including 5,875 children.

There is also no heating in eight schools, 16 kindergartens, a sanatorium and the central district hospital. At the same time, five people are in intensive care at the medical facility. The department noted that it is heated by electric heaters.
Currently, the emergency service is carrying out welding work in the boiler room. Heating was promised to be restored at midnight on January 18.
