A Thai man accidentally left his wife in the jungle when the couple stopped on the side of the road to go to the toilet. Outkick reports.
Buntom Chaimun, 55, and his wife Amnuay were returning from their vacation by car. At night, the man stopped the car on the side of the road and disappeared among the trees to relieve himself. While he was away, his wife followed his example and also went into the forest. Meanwhile, the husband returned, got behind the wheel and drove on. He noticed an unusual silence in the car, but did not notice the absence of his wife and believed that she was sleeping in the back seat.
When Amnuay stepped onto the road, the car had already left. She had to walk in the dark to the nearest town, which was 20 kilometers away. After that, she went to the police to contact her husband. Her mobile phone was left in a bag in the back seat of the car, she did not remember her husband’s number, so the police managed to contact Chaimun only a few hours later. By that time, he managed to drive about 160 kilometers and reached the province of Korat. After a call from the police, the man immediately drove back to pick up his wife.
The woman said that she was not offended by her husband and forgave him.
