The project was implemented at the 220 kV Semenovskaya substation, which provides power supply to the facilities of the Gorky Railway, a foundry and mechanical plant in the city of Semenov, as well as consumers in 12 districts with a total population of 200,000 people. An innovative development of the Rosseti Group’s own R&D center has been implemented at the facility, which will allow up to 75% to reduce electricity consumption for own needs while maintaining high reliability of power supply to consumers.
The work was carried out within the framework of the industry national project “Energy Efficient Substation”. The company is its initiator and key participant. The technologies created by the specialists of the Rosseti Scientific and Technical Center are used.
Two autotransformers with a total capacity of 250 MVA are equipped with an automated cooling system that allows you to adjust the speed and speed of oil pumps and fans based on real-time data on the state of the equipment and the environment. At the same time, the heat generated by the power units is used to heat the production premises.
The Rosseti Group has many years of experience in R&D and integrated implementation of innovative energy efficient technologies. Practical solutions in this area have already been implemented at several dozen main facilities…
