Rostec has developed and put into production CERASHIELD-BN non-stick material, which is used in automatic welding at large enterprises and was previously supplied from abroad. The output of products has been established on the basis of the Ural Research Chemical Institute (UNIKHIM, part of the holding managed by ONPP Tekhnologiya named after A.G. Romashin), whose capacity is sufficient to completely meet the needs of Russian enterprises in such products.
The material was developed at the request of enterprises that faced the issue of import substitution of products of foreign companies, and is an aerosol ceramic coating of increased durability based on boron nitride. Thanks to it, the workplace and equipment do not need to be cleaned of splashes and scale, which reduces downtime and significantly increases productivity.
