Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region – Minister of Agriculture of the region Roman Kovalsky, together with scientists from the Federal Research Center of the South-East, visited a number of seed-growing enterprises in the region, which are working on seeds for spring sowing. The head of the agrarian block of the region checked the availability of batches of ready-made seeds for spring sowing and the insurance fund in case of reseeding winter crops, noting that farmers are provided with spring grains in full. The Federal Hydrometeorological Center has declared the danger of extinction of winter crops in a number of areas of the Penza, Samara, Oryol and Saratov regions.
