Vadim Vikulov, the founder of Aston Group of Companies, one of the leading agricultural holdings in the Russian Federation, became the direct owner of Aston JSC. This change is reflected in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Interfax reports.
Previously, Vikulov controlled the company through the Swiss Aston Agro-Industrial AG.
Aston is one of the largest producers of food ingredients in Russia, the first largest exporter of vegetable oils, a processor of oilseeds, a producer of starch products, and the third largest exporter of grain and the production of bottled oil. The company’s factories produce more than 20 types of molasses, syrups and starch, food and feed products for various industries. Aston sells its products in Russia and in more than 30 countries of the CIS, the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa. The headquarters is located in Rostov-on-Don.
Recently, a number of founders of Russian agricultural companies have begun to transfer to direct ownership of them. So, in the spring of last year, the largest grain trader – Trading House “Rif” – came under the control of its founder, Petr Khodykin. Previously, control was carried out through GTCS Trading (UAE).
In August, the brothers Viktor and Alexander Linnik began to directly own the Miratorg holding on an equal footing. Previously, they managed Miratorg through the Cypriot Agromir Ltd.
