The Gagarinskoye oil field is one of the most promising assets of PJSC LUKOIL in the Perm Territory. The Glavgosexpertiza of Russia issued a positive opinion on the construction of an oil and gas gathering pipeline with connection sections to ensure the transportation of field well products to oil collection and treatment points.
The Gagarinskoye oil field was discovered in 1990 in the Krasnovishersky district of the Perm Territory. The field got its name from the Gagarinskoe swamp nature reserve, on the territory of which it is located.
During the development of the production site, it is planned to lay underground pipelines with a total length of 1.7 km. The projected oil and gas gathering pipeline also provides for the construction of sections for connecting the designed oil and gas gathering pipeline to the existing oil gathering system of the Gagarinskoye field and a platform for shutoff valves.
“Upon completion of construction, strength testing of the pipeline and connection sections, as well as a tightness test, are expected. Tests will be carried out in two stages at separate sites,” – said Natalya Averina, chief expert of the project of the GEP Service on production facilities of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
