In December 2022-January 2023, the demand for the purchase of real estate in Sochi from residents who live in the largest cities of Russia is headed by Moscow. This was reported to Realty Times by experts from the Onyx-Realty company.
In particular, the share of inquiries from the capital in relation to the total number of inquiries from 16 million-plus cities was 41.2%. For six months – from May-June 2022 – the number of customer requests from Moscow decreased by 30.67%. So, at the beginning of the summer of 2022, the share of requests from the capital relative to the total number of requests was at the level of 44.2%.
St. Petersburg became the second million-plus city in terms of interest in buying real estate in Sochi in December 2022 – January 2023. The share of requests from the Northern capital was 13.3% (in the summer of 2022, this figure was at the level of 12.9%). At the same time, the number of requests at the end of last year – the beginning of this year decreased by 23.2% compared to May – June 2022.
Novosibirsk closed the top three leading cities in terms of demand for the purchase of real estate in Sochi in December 2022-January 2023. The share of requests from this city was 5.6%. At the same time, in the middle of last year, the share of requests from Novosibirsk was at the level of 4.2%. At that time, this metropolis occupied only the sixth place in terms of demand for housing in Sochi after Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don.
According to the experts of the Onyx-Real Estate company, Krasnoyarsk became the only large city in Russia where the number of requests for the purchase of real estate in Sochi has increased over the past six months. So, in December 2022 – January 2023, demand increased by 7.23% compared to May – June 2022. At the moment, the share of requests from this city is 3.8% (in the spring-summer of 2022, the share was 2.8%).
