The Ministry of Agriculture is preparing a proposal on quoting seed imports. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev at the XIV Congress of the National Union of Milk Producers (Soyuzmoloko), writes TASS.
“We are working and will now go to the customs and tariff commission to approve quotas for the import of foreign seeds. Together with our business, together with our research institutes, with science, we need to engage in the production of our own molds. And this is what we will do. We will somewhat limit commercial seeds, because it is necessary to create our own,” he said.
