Russian demand for a golden visa in the United Arab Emirates has steadily increased in 2022. Experts from Elite & Luxury Real Estate told Realty Times about this | Dubai-Realty.com.
– A significant increase in the number of requests from the Russians occurred in February and July last year. So, in the second month of the year, the number of requests increased by 119.7% compared to January, and in July – by 177.7% compared to June, the company said.
In the fourth quarter of 2022, the number of Russian applicants for a golden visa in the UAE increased by 54.8% compared to the third quarter of the same year. At the same time, in December, a decrease by 42.2% was recorded relative to November.
In December 2022 – January 2023, residents of 53 Russian cities and towns were interested in obtaining a golden visa. At the same time, almost half of the requests (48.6%) came from residents of the capital. The second line was occupied by residents of St. Petersburg with a share of 8.2% of the total number of requests, and the residents of Kazan closed the TOP-3 with a share of 3.7%.
