The Russian Helicopters holding of the Rostec State Corporation delivered two Mi-8AMT helicopters for the Gazprom Avia airline. By the end of this year, the companies will hand over one more car. The aircraft will be used to serve the country’s key oil and gas facilities, including in the Far North.
The delivered helicopters were manufactured at the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant in a transport version, which allows transporting up to 22 passengers or up to four tons of cargo, including on an external sling. Mi-8AMTs are already successfully operated at the facilities of the Gazprom Group in the Far North, Eastern Siberia and the Far East, as well as in other regions where Gazprom Avia operates.
