The sports team of the Gorky Automobile Plant “GAZ Reid Sport” has completed the construction of a new Valdai Next rally car. In the history of the team, this is the first sports prototype with a cabover cab; the previous ones were built on the basis of GAZelles and Lawns.
For the car, the Next City GAZon platform was taken, for the best weight distribution, the engine was shifted within the wheelbase – it was forced up to 310 hp. YaMZ-534. It is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive, all disc brakes. The sports debut of the car will take place on March 7 at the Baikal Mile 2023.
