On Wednesday, March 1, the XXVI Agroindustrial Forum of the South of Russia (Interagromash and Agrotechnologies exhibitions) started at DonExpocentre. It is one of the largest and professionally oriented events in the agricultural sector of the Don region.
Representatives of the regional government and heads of large agricultural companies took part in the opening ceremony.
– The Rostov region has the largest fleet of agricultural machinery in Russia, while the Don farms are the first in the country in terms of the pace of purchases of agricultural machinery. In 2022, agricultural enterprises purchased about 4 thousand units – this is a good investment in the future. The renovation of Don equipment is subsidized under the regional program. This year, the amount of state support for these purposes in the amount of more than half a billion rubles has been preserved, – said the Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev.
“For many years, before the start of spring field work, agricultural producers, suppliers of equipment, spare parts, mineral fertilizers, as well as scientists have been meeting here to discuss problematic issues of the work of the agro-industrial complex and crop production this year,” said the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Rostov Region at the opening of the exhibition. region – Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, Nature Management, Land Relations and Affairs of the Cossacks Vyacheslav Vasilenko.
– In conditions when many foreign producers leave the Russian market, it is important to support the normal work of our villagers. It is here, at the Interagromash and Agrotechnologies exhibitions, that alternative offers from domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery, equipment, fertilizers and protective equipment are presented, as well as brands that have not previously been on the Russian market,” commented Vladimir Boldin, General Director of Altair Group of Companies .
One of the central events of the first day of the exhibition was the “Meeting on the organized conduct of spring field work in 2023” with the participation of top officials of the government and the agricultural sector of the Don region. In addition, the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Innovative agriculture: from resource-saving to digital technologies”, the conference “Production, processing, export of grain. Problems and development prospects in 2023”.
Also in the business program are round tables “On measures to support small businesses for 2023”, “Innovative technologies in animal husbandry”, “Low-cost systems for the production of agricultural products” and others. In total, more than 30 events will take place during the three days of the forum.
This year, more than 190 exhibitors from 20 regions of Russia, as well as Belarus, China and Kyrgyzstan, take part in the Interagromash and Agrotechnologies exhibitions. On an area of 23,000 sq. m. more than 190 samples of the latest agricultural equipment are presented, as well as a wide selection of agrochemical products and goods for animal husbandry.
