The Crimean authorities have recorded a multiple increase in the rent for agricultural land and intend to set a price limit to stop it, said in its Telegram channel head of the republic Sergei Aksenov on the results of a working meeting on problematic issues of municipalities.
“Recently, they began to record requests from entrepreneurs about a multiple increase in rent for agricultural land. I think that a single bar should be set for maximum rents in geographically similar agricultural areas. The municipalities have been instructed to carry out the relevant work,” Aksyonov wrote.
The head of Crimea also said that he had instructed to intensify the inventory of unused agricultural land.
Crimean Prime Minister Yuriy Gotsanyuk also said that issues of sanitary cleaning and soil preparation for spring sowing of perennial grasses and planting of perennial plantations were discussed at the meeting.
In February, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic Vladimir Konstantinov told TASS that the Crimean authorities are counting on an increase in indicators in animal husbandry and crop production, an increase in sown land in 2023, state support for the agro-industrial complex (AIC) under the republican program will increase by 10.5%. Crimean agro-industrial enterprises received 3 billion rubles of state support in 2022, which is 20% more than a year earlier, Aksyonov reported in December. The grain harvest amounted to 2 million tons, which is more than a third more than in 2021.
