March 2 as part of XXVI Agroindustrial Forum of the South of Russia a scientific and practical seminar was held on the topic “Modern practices of effective nutrition, protection of sunflower and corn in the conditions of the south of Russia”, organized by the federal information and analytical journal “Actual Agrosystems”.
Specialists of leading foreign and Russian companies presented at the seminar advanced developments and products in the field of protection and nutrition of major crops,
The participants of the event also discussed the problems of optimal adaptation of the solutions presented at the seminar to ensure the phytosanitary well-being of agricultural lands and obtaining high and high-quality yields.
Sergey Anashenkov, head of the sunflower product of the Limagren company, told the seminar participants about the features of the choice and application of innovative technologies for growing and protecting sunflower.
Alexander Tolok, an agronomist-consultant of the Chance group of companies, presented effective solutions for the use of chemicals on winter wheat and sunflower during his presentation.
What should be the set of measures to optimize nutrition and protect cereals, corn and sunflower in the early stages of development, Dmitry Voronin, Marketing Director of NPF MEGAMIX LLC, informed the seminar participants.
Alexander Kuznetsov and Nikolay Novikov, specialists of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Rosselkhozcenter” in the Rostov region, spoke about advanced developments in the field of biological protection of crops at the seminar.
Farmers, agronomists, crop protection specialists from the farms of the Rostov region, who took part in the seminar, asked their questions to experts, exchanged views, received recommendations on minimizing risks and eliminating errors when growing grain crops and sunflower.
