Over 100 fast charging centers in the heart of urban centers across Europe. Integrated BP pulse and APCOA application to provide seamless parking and charging for customers. Berlin and Bremen are planned as the first city centers to offer 24/7 access to ultra-fast charging.
BP pulse, one of the UK’s leading public EV fast and ultra-fast charging networks, and APCOA Parking Group, a leading UK provider of dedicated parking solutions with a strong presence in Europe, have signed a strategic pan-European framework agreement to open more than 100 EV fast charging centers across Europe.
Under the agreement, BP pulse plans to install ultra-fast charging at APCOA’s “city hubs” car parks in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and the UK over the next three years to help expand its charging network in city centers.
The project is part of APCOA’s plans to transform its car parks into city centers that will provide physical and digital infrastructure for mobility, logistics, e-charging and high-tech services.
The two companies aim to work together to provide a seamless customer journey through the digital integration of bp pulse and the APCOA Connect app in the UK and the APCOA Flow app in Europe. Registered users will be able to find, access, book and pay for charging and parking at the car park from their mobile phone, and the barriers to enter and exit the car park will automatically open when a vehicle approaches.
