According to the report, Russian demand for the purchase of real estate in the United Arab Emirates in the first month of 2023 increased by 31.44% compared to the result in December last year. This growth, recorded as part of the monthly dynamics, was the most significant since September last year, when the number of applications increased by 94.08%.
– January of this year was the second month in a row when the number of requests for the purchase of real estate in the UAE showed a positive trend. So, in December 2022, Russian demand increased by 0.6% compared to November.
As noted in the message of specialists, in January 2023, the interest of Russians in buying real estate in the UAE was 2.5 times higher than in January 2022 and 665.17% higher than in January 2021.
The main demand from Russians in the UAE is still focused on Dubai. In January 2023, the share of requests that fell specifically on this emirate amounted to 95.93% of the total number of requests. Abu Dhabi became the second most popular city in the UAE among Russians. The share of requests for this city in January amounted to 2.17% of the total number of requests.
