A guy named Magomed stood at his post on the night of March 6. He had been serving in a military unit in the Sudzhansky district near the border with Ukraine for 8 months. It is clear that the situation in that region is not easy now, but military experience should already have helped Magomed prevent such deadly mistakes.
At night, the conscript noticed movement and shouted: “Stop, who’s coming?” No one answered, but the movement continued. Then Magomed opened fire to kill with a Kalashnikov, fearing saboteurs.
The sentry hit both walkers, but they turned out to be his own colleagues, and not some enemies. One of them, 19-year-old Tamir, died on the spot, and the second, 22-year-old Vladislav, was injured – he was urgently hospitalized.
In the Kursk region, tragic stories with conscripts have become more frequent. In the early morning of February 20, a powerful explosion occurred in one of the districts of the region. As it turned out, the conscripts located in one of the dugouts decided to kindle the stove and did not find a way out better than splashing gasoline into the furnace.
