The right half of the bridge across the Volga-Don navigable canal on the Volgograd bypass under construction has acquired a finished look. In the Svetloyarsky district, on March 2, 2023, the sliding of spans over the channel of the VDSK was completed. Sliding is a complex technological process and a serious test for all builders.

The length of the bridge across the VDSK together with the overpass is more than 1300 meters. The sliding of the spans of the large-scale structure was carried out in three stages. We started in December 2022, then we collected 13 of 23 blocks. Then 6 more blocks were docked with them. This year, the right half of the bridge has been pulled down completely. Within two weeks, the builders assembled the last four blocks and connected them together.
