In January 2023, the demand for the purchase of luxury real estate is growing in Moscow. Analysts from Zavidov Realty shared this information with the Realty Times.
As they say in the message, in January 2023, the demand for capital housing of this class was 5.5% higher than in December 2022. However, in annual terms, there is a negative trend – a decrease of 64.6% compared to January 2022.
At the same time, the founder of the company, Yuri Zavidov, stressed that the segment also recorded price cuts, but only when making deals. The discount from the price in the exposition is 20-30%. According to him, in the near future we can expect a decrease in prices in the market of the primary “elite”.
– Development is a struggle against time. Therefore, it is better to sell quickly if they offer harmless money than to wait for a hypothetical worthy buyer for who knows how long,” Zavidov explained.
The expert also stressed that further growth in demand will be observed: both in the primary market and in the secondary market, since there are not so many locations where you can build premium real estate. Unless, of course, we are talking specifically about the elite – with the appropriate location, and not “about the housing far-fetched to this class is simply superior.”
