According to the Ministry of Agriculture, active vegetation is already beginning in some regions. Winter crops are currently being fed in nine constituent entities on a total area of about 2 million hectares.
“In addition, in the Krasnodar, Stavropol Territories, Crimea, Dagestan, the Chechen Republic, spring sowing has already started. More than 30 thousand hectares have been sown, and almost all of this is a grain group. I note that the start of work corresponds to the average multi-year agro-technological terms, ”said Patrushev.
The preparation of subjects for the sowing campaign is under the special control of the Ministry of Agriculture. According to the minister, in all regions, by the time they enter the fields, there should be a full supply and readiness of seeds, fuels and lubricants, machinery, mineral fertilizers, plant protection products. Patrushev urged the leaders of the regional authorities of the agro-industrial complex to promptly help agricultural producers in the field. “We hope that the sowing season will go on as planned and will provide us with a decent harvest in 2023,” the head of the Ministry of Agriculture said.
