The NKR Credit Rating Agency conducted a study on mortgages. According to experts, in 2023, the average rates will be at the level of 9%, and the monthly payment can reach 30,000 rubles.
In particular, analysts are confident that the average interest rates on new loans in 2023 may exceed 9%, thereby returning to the level of spring 2020.
– Compared to 2022, the growth will be 2 percentage points at once. At the same time, in the absence of new macroshocks, the NKR does not expect a sharper increase in rates, the text of the message says.
At the same time, the average cost of a loan will increase mainly due to the primary market. Tougher regulation on programs from developers will lead to an increase in rates there.
But the average monthly mortgage payment can exceed the amount of 30,000 rubles. This is not only 12.5% higher than last year’s figures, but also 5.5% ahead of the inflation rate forecast by the Ministry of Economic Development at 5.5%.
This result will naturally lead to sharply increased mortgage rates. However, it will be possible to level the increase in the amount thanks to an increase in average loan growth.
