Russian Railways has completed the reconstruction of the bridge across the Askiz River in Khakassia. The bridge is located on the section of the Eastern training ground Mezhdurechensk – Taishet, it provides the passage of export cargo in the direction of the Far Eastern seaports and border crossings.
“We replaced the bridge supports, installed 4 new span structures 23 meters long and weighing 35 tons, laid the track on a reinforced concrete base. The reconstruction was carried out in stages, during 12-hour “windows”.
