The Glavgosexpertiza of Russia issued a positive conclusion following the re-examination of design estimates for the reconstruction of six main water conduits on the eastern coast of the Kerch Peninsula.
Stable and high-quality water supply remains an urgent task for the Crimean regions. In the near future, it is expected to put into operation two lines of the main water conduit of the Crimea, which will ensure the transfer of artesian water from underground water intakes to Kerch and Feodosia. Also, the federal target program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol until 2025” includes the renewal of the existing main network of water pipelines on the east coast.
The design documentation, reviewed by experts from the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia, plans to reconstruct six sections of main water pipelines with a length of over 18 km and a capacity of 132,300 cubic meters. m per day, passing through the territory of the southern, western and northern parts of Kerch.
“Reconstruction of worn-out sections of water conduits will provide a more reliable supply of drinking water to Kerch and reduce the risks of emergency situations during the operation of the main network of the eastern coast of Crimea”, – commented Svetlana Gorokhova, chief expert of the project of the GEP Service on cultural heritage sites and engineering and technical infrastructure of the Glavgosexpertiza of Russia.
According to the project documentation, sections of the distributing networks from water treatment facilities to Vodorazdatka of the city of Kerch, Feodosia and Industrial highways, from the Feodosia chamber to the Telecenter clean water reservoir, as well as sections of networks between the Adzhimushkayskaya and Tower pumping stations, in including from the n / s “Adzhimushkayskaya” – st. General Petrov – st. Voykov – st. Engels.
After the installation of the designed sections of the water supply network, the existing water supply will be dismantled.
The customer of the facility is the State Institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Investment and Construction Department of the Republic of Crimea”, the general designer is LLC “Shelf Institute”.
