Less than 200 recipients of “Far Eastern hectares” in the Amur Region took advantage of the amnesty to register land for ownership or long-term lease, according to the Ministry of Property of the Amur Region.
“Out of 179 applications filed “under the amnesty”, about 100 have already received a positive decision, land plots have been transferred to them for ownership or lease. The rest of the applications will be registered in the municipalities within a week, ”the Minister of Property Relations of the Amur Region, Sergei Oliferov, said in the message.
The ministry clarified that about 960 people missed the deadlines for registering the site for ownership or rent. Thus, just over 18% took advantage of the “amnesty”.
As reported, in the Amur Region, out of more than 9.3 thousand who received the “Far Eastern hectare” in the Amur region, about 1.7 thousand registered the land as property.
The Far Eastern Hectare program has been in existence since 2016. In accordance with it, all citizens of Russia can receive free land in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. It is allowed to build a house on the site, equip a dacha, engage in agriculture, business (production of food and non-food products, crafts, provision of social services), organize a tourism project.
The land is provided for gratuitous use for five years, and then it can be issued in ownership or lease. To do this, it is necessary to confirm that the land is used in accordance with certain criteria.
