To investigate the ball with a diameter of about 1.5 m, the police and sappers were called. The area was quickly cordoned off and x-rayed, after which it was decided that the ball did not pose a threat.
The experts were unable to identify the sphere, which turned out to be hollow and, they believe, is made of iron, as it is covered with rust.
Theories about what the item might be have circulated on social media, but many have speculated that it is most likely an ordinary mooring buoy.
Suspicions around a harmless object intensified due to the fact that its discovery occurred against the backdrop of situations around UFOs in the United States.
